Nominated for a Best Newcomer and Billy T award in 2018, Alice Snedden has since sold-out consecutive NZ Comedy Festivals and has established herself as a leading stand-up in the New Zealand comedy scene.

Alice made her debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2018 to rave reviews, with her Billy T award nominated show Self-Titled. She followed up with her second show Absolute Monster.Alice is the co-writer of the sitcom Starstruck, created by and starring Rose Matafeo, and the co-director (with Rose) of its third season.

Starstruck was commissioned by BBC3 in the UK and HBO Max in the US. Season One premiered on BBC One and BBC Three in the UK where it became the channel’s best performing new comedy of the year with over four million downloads on BBC iPlayer to date, and later on HBO Max in the US, the show was also pre-sold to over 50 territories including Australia (ABC) and New Zealand (TVNZ). The show is a critical and ratings success.

Alice is currently directing and writing her own scripted projects. She will be returning to Edinburgh with her new stand up show Highly Credible, this year.
